Welcome to KRABI!
Here I am at Phra Nang Beach. This is also one of the most secluded beaches here in Thailand.
It's so peaceful here especially this time of the day, in the morning. Not so many people.
It's good to walk along the beach. The sand here is really white and soft. You can see the sea water is really beautiful.
And, especially this gorgeous and stunning limestone cliffs behind me. People come here for rock climbing as well.
But, what makes this beach really unique is this Phra Nang Cave. 'Phra Nang' is actually the local name for 'Princess of the Sea’.
Local people especially fishermen come here to pay respect to 'Phra Nang' to ask for good luck every time before they go out to the sea and to keep them safe from the storms.
The thing that fishermen used to pay respect to 'Phra Nang' is this replica of the man thing (langam).
You can see like a lot of the man thing of different sizes here.
This is the uniqueness of Phra Nang Beach and Phra Nang Cave.
If you are here at Phra Nang Beach, you should walk here to Phra Nang Cave.
You can see the stunningly beautiful landscape of the cave of the limestone.
Prepare your camera to take a lot of good shots here.
Welcome to Railay Beach! This is one of the world's most beautiful beaches, voted by travelers around the world, and one of my favorite beaches in Thailand.
I've been here many times and it's always beautiful. I'm so happy to be back here again.
Especially this morning, it is not crowded at all. So it's really recommended to come early as you can.
You can see the landscape here is breathtaking.
The nature here is quite unique. It's different from anywhere else in the world. And, you can see, the sea water here is really clear and the color... I love it so much.
The Andaman Sea, the sea water is always turquoise, a little like blue and green mixed together.
I can see longtail boats because this place is accessible only by boat, mainly from Ao Nang or some other places like Phuket and Phi Phi or other places around Andaman Sea.
The sand is really white. It's a great place to be!
If you have watched the movie 'The Beach', this is the beach in the movie.
Here I am at the magnificent 'Maya Beach', a part of Phi Phi Leh island in Krabi, Thailand. This is one of the most famous places on earth.
And you can see, the unique thing about this beach is that it's like a lagoon.
It is a turquoise-color lagoon surrounded by limestone mountains.
So, you are surrounded by this beautiful nature.
It is always packed with people, so it's recommended that you come as early as you can.
Maybe 6, 7, or 8 o'clock because after 9 o'clock, it'll be packed with people.
So, like today, I came here quite early. Not so many people now.
The sand is beautiful. The water is beautiful. You have time to enjoy.
The viewpoint on Phi Phi Don Island is definitely a Must-See.
It only takes 20-30 minutes to climb up here. Just grab one bottle of water, and then you're ready to go!
You may have to pay a small entrance fee, but when you've arrived, it's really worth it as the view is, of course, magnificent 'Phi Phi Don Island' is the largest island in Phi Phi archipelago.
It is almost separated into two islands, but a strand of flat land connects them.
Thousands of people passed away when a tsunami hit the island on 26 December 2004.
Nowadays, an alert system has been introduced and the villagers have been trained to react to any possible future disasters .
'Koh Poda' or 'Poda Island' is one of the most popular islands in Krabi archipelago.
Located just 8 kilometers offshore from Ao Nang, it roughly takes 25 minutes to get there by long tail boat 'Moo Koh Poda' or 'Poda Island Group' consists of 4 islands - Koh Poda, Koh Kai, Koh Tub, and Koh Mor.
Koh Poda is the largest of the group despite its area being no more than a kilometer in diameter.
Covered with palm and pine trees and almost entirely encircled by a soft white sand beach, it is every inch the stunning tropical getaway.
A coral reef lies about 20 meters from the beach with a variety of sea life.
The irresistible combination of excellent snorkelling, scenery, and soft white sand makes the island a popular choice. But surprisingly, it is not that crowded.
On the island, you can enjoy locally cooked food or some snacks like grilled corn!
Bamboo Island, or as Thai people call it 'Koh Mai Pai' is approximately 5 kilometres of the northern tip of Phi Phi Don Island.
Bamboo Island is a stunning tropical hotspot that offers a perfect getaway from the crowds as despite the fact a few tours from
Phuket make a stop here after lunch, the island is most of the time never too crowded.
Measuring roughly 600 meter wide by 700 meter long, the island is almost shaped like a heart and is entirely surrounded by a strip of white sand.
Its central part is covered with lush vegetation, including bamboo trees that gave its name to the island. It is the perfect spot for a day trip.
The crystal-clear seawater here is really attractive for swimming.
Just spend your lazy day with the sea, sand, and sun under the blue sky. What else can one ask for?
Remember this name - 'Bamboo Island'.
'Emerald Pool' or 'Sra Morakot' is a heavenly pool to swim in.
The water comes from natural streams running into the pool from freshwater sources on the limestone hill above.
It is located about 55 kilometres from Krabi town and 75 kilometers from Ao Nang.
You'd better wear comfortable shoes as the pool is around 800 meters from the parking area.
Please note that no food is allowed in the area.
Despite the crowd, enjoy your swim there!
Hope you enjoy this trip, there're still more stories about KRABI.
